[Bussiness Talk] B-Talk #3 “Who is Halal Certification For?”
Yogyakarta – Studying the issue of halal certification is a very interesting topic to discuss. So far, it is deemed that halal certification is not needed considering because the processing procedure is difficult and very expensive. So, actually who is halal certification for?
The Office of Business and Investment (KUBI) of UAD in collaboration with JSM DIY tried to answer all these problems by holding a Webinar Bussiness Talk B-Talk # 3 with the topic “Who is halal certification for?” (20/03/2021)
“The consumer trend demands halal certification, so it is hoped that producers will be eager to get the halal certification.” said Mr. Riduwan, Head of KUBI UAD, when giving a speech at the beginning of the event in collaboration with JSM DIY trying to answer all these problems by holding a Webinar Bussiness Talk B-Talk #3.
The Business Talk activity, which is routinely held every 20th, is carried out online through the Zoom Meeting and is attended by participants from various sectors, namely students, lecturers and the general public. This Business Talk presented 2 speakers, namely Mustofa Ahda, S.Si., M.Sc. (UAD Halal Center) and Ir. Nanung Danar, S. Pt., M. P., Ph.D. (Halal Research Center Faculty of Agriculture UGM).
In his presentation, Ir. Nanung Danar, S. Pt., M. P., Ph.D. said that halal certification is an affirmation of product quality, that the product produced is halal. “Halal is a quality, a certain quality achievement. The level is more than international because it is a matter for the world and the hereafter.” (NN)
