Public Relations of UAD Holds News Writing Training for the Academic Community of UAD
Yogyakarta – Public Relations and Protocol, Affairs Office of Ahmad Dahlan University in collaboration with Times Indonesia held a “UAD News Writing Training”. As an effort to implement a health protocol system, this activity is carried out online and offline in the Meeting Room, Floor 2, Campus 1 UAD, Jalan Kapas No. 9 Yogyakarta. (05/03/2021)
The training, which is planned to be held for 2 days, was opened directly by the Head of the Affair Office of UAD, Raden Muhammad Ali, SS, M.Pd., attended by the Head of Public Relations and Protocol, Ariadi Nugraha, M.Pd., and also attended by 15 participants (offline) and more than 50 participants who were connected online through the Zoom Meeting.
Mr. Raden Muhammad Ali in his speech said that after this training activity was completed, it was hoped that the participants could develop their interests and talents in writing news, and can apply it for branding activities in study programs, faculties or agencies/bureaus/institutions.
Two speakers were presented in this activity, namely, Dr. Hadi Suyono, M. Si. (Lecturer, writer) and Ahmad Riyadi, S. IP., M. Si. (GM Times Indonesia). Both of them presented different materials, it were about to growing interest in writing and tips in writing news.
A memorable statement delivered by Mr. Hadi Suyono at the end of the material presentation session is “Waktu begitu berarti, jangan tak berisi, gores tinta histori, karyamu abadi.” Yes, we must to filled our day with writing. (NN)
