[KUBI x Margaria Group] [Webinar Start Up] “Dari Halu Menjadi Mampu”

Yogayakarta – The decline in the level of the economy from year to year is one of which is influenced by the dwindling employment opportunities. UAD’s business and investment affairs office collaborated with Margaria Group to hold a start-up webinar for students and the public to raise the spirit of entrepreneurship starting from college (June 7th, 2021)

The start-up webinar raised the theme “Dari Halu Menjadi Mampu” which was attended by approximately 150 participants, mostly students. The speaker at the webinar was Dr. H. Riduwan, S.E., M.Ag (Head of KUBI UAD) and Arief Wibawanto (Business Director of Margaria Group).

Dr. H. Riduwan, S.E., M.Ag explained the material about the importance of building the spirit of entrepreneurship since college. The second speaker Arief Wibawanto explained more about business building strategies and basic tips for business startups. He said that “the basic things that are at least learned and mastered before starting a business are applying excel, accounting principles, business law, and taxes”

The discussion session was filled with questions and answers with several questioners related to making SOPs within the company, business opportunities, and capital systems in the development of business cooperation.

This webinar is expected to be able to support the enthusiasm of students to open their own jobs, especially during the pandemic also an effort to realize UAD’s goal to become a social entrepreneur campus.
